1st Place Humor: I captured this moment at the top of Mt. Hood at Timberline Lodge. While we stepped outside the snow cat to head into a rustic snowy lodge a mad gust of wind swept around the corner and inverted Kaila and Scott's umbrella for one of the most exhilarating moments of the day! P.S. All of us were covered in frosty ice histariously laughing!
14th Place Reception: This image was one of the most memorable moments of my career. The brides father Don Victor had a way to make everyone relax, smile and laugh. While he was ill at the wedding everyone picked him up to celebrate a forever moment of him kissing to life and his daughters wedding. What makes this image even more meaningful is Don passed away 6 months after the wedding. He will be forever remembered! This image was taken at the Hayatt Regency Scottsdale Resort and Spa at Gainey Ranch.
19th Place Engagement Portrait. This lifestyle engagement portrait of Kati and Kyle OeDell on the Molalla river in Oregon. They chose this river since it was where Kati saw Kyle for the first time. I waded out into the river to shoot this image of them after putting my iPod and speakers on rocks near them to enhance the mood. They love to dance, anywhere! Bravo Weddings also uses this image for their wedding guide.
