Melissa & Ryan in Columbia Gorge
I think there's always a concern
with a photographer being sort of a
bit of an alien third party. Sort of an awkward appendage... He was distinctly not like that. Jos and his team were
part and parcel of the wedding party that fit in
beautifully. They just feel like us. There was nothing forced... nothing unnatural
just, it was really natural, and really nice. And I think what it allowed us to do
was to just be who we are and capture that as opposed to capturing
the events that you schedule on a list.
I loved my dress.
There were just a couple different times when I was walking down a narrow hallway and he said just stop right there.
That's exactly where you need to be.
It was just one of those moments where I was naturally walking. I was moving...
It was just being able to stop me where I was and notice what would really matter in the angle. But he really took it to the next level
because he full on got down, laid down, in the shower to get the best picture
that you could see of my dress hanging... everyone that was around
was just like "What is he doing? Is this what he does on a regular basis?"
He was willing to go to hell and high water for what
really was the shot.
We did everything in a natural environment because we love to be outside. And there was just this whole
field of wildflowers. It was just where we wanted to be. And then...
our parents came out. I mean, everyone in the wild flowers.
It was a moment that was just captured perfectly.
I couldn't have better things to say
Was it worth the investment? Absolutely. The end justifies the means. Exactly.
