What inspires me are real moments. I think it's important to see the poetry of people in love.
Whe I see the poetry of people it teaches me how to see.
And it opens me up to recognize the real intimacy between them. I think it's also important
to recognize some of the legends of art in history.
For example, Vincent Van Gogh states, hit's the touch of his art
when he says, "My aim is not to capture any particular human movement
but to express sincere human feeling." If you can capture that feeling in a photograph...
With a good eye for composition and lighting, you have something profound. You have a story, you have a piece of art. And that's what I'm after with my photography.
We have this wild
flower field right in the back of this castle where I think I'm going to setup a photograph.
Just right here... don't you think it would work good...? Yeah.. this is going to work good.
So I was blown away, really pleasantly surprised. Jos went to the ends of the earth to get the shot.
It exceeded my expectations and I had high expectations. Because, when I first engaged with JOS
and just the team in general and saw the work.
I already just had a gut instinct that this was different.
I want people to experience something... something timeless, so that when they look at the photographs, they feel the entire experience.
